Building Management
The day-to-day management of buildings can be a stressful task. The often unforeseen problems with utilities or security systems can take up large amounts of time for Owner’s Corporations. This is why DPM offers building management services.
Many apartment buildings do not have the financial viability to have a full time Building Manager. This is where DPM can assist by providing as little as four hours of onsite management per week to as many hours as required.
Some of the services we offer are:
- Liaising with and organising tradespeople to rectify or repair areas of the building or its facilities including supervision of cleaning & gardening teams;
- Arranging quotations from Contractors for larger projects;
- The management of common area security systems, such as garage doors and security gates;
- Management of electronic access systems including receipting & remittance of monies;
- Taking instructions from Owner’s Corporations, and acting upon them, in relation to the enforcement of building by-laws: for example, the visible hanging of washing in balconies or illegal visitor parking;
- The provision of tailor made essential information packs for residents including emergency contact numbers;
- Attendance & reporting at Building Executive Committee meetings.
